Hi, I’m Mira.
I have over 14 years of experience designing brands, websites, tools and presentations. My career has spanned across multiple disciplines at Apple and beyond. Some of my accomplishments include:
establishing the look and feel of the AIML organization at Apple;
setting design standards, templates, and resources for multiple engineering teams within Apple;
being the first designer on a research and development team to build exploratory interfaces;
developing and teaching a course on presentation design to hundreds of engineers;
building countless presentations ranging from executive reviews to advanced technical demos (to the point that executive leadership recognized my work);
all while picking up a few extra skills, such as video editing, LaTeX, and advanced HTML, along the way.
Currently, I work as the Lead Designer for AIML at Apple overseeing the creative direction of internal events, managing a lean team of designers, designing for the machinelearning.apple.com site, maintaining and designing UX for internal tools, setting design standards for employees, and more. My design skillset is deep and wide plus the ability to work with all types of people: interns, designers, data scientists, engineers, machine learning researchers, program managers, and executives.
When I have the time, I like to bake sweets, make way too much Korean food, and discover all the best afternoon tea spots in the Bay Area.
